Not sure if I'll try improve my run soon or wait some time but it'll happen eventually. Also, I had 11 resets for Splork generation on the helix (11-5) but wanted the safe strat to secure the run. Had a couple levels I had to do slow saves for but proud I managed them. A 4:14 Claude split is mental and a sub-5 Renfield split is also crazy. Pnaha was watching and noted that I was on world record pace up to Tula. This run does have a loss on 11-4 which is a shame but it's amazing I still pulled off the sub-55. Definitely helped that I spent a while before running learning a bunch of strats I had been avoiding. Instead of my usual 1-2 week non-stop grind though, this only took one 6 hour stream. Im quite intrigued by this game as a speedrun, and decided to create a discord server dedicated to finding strategies, specifically good first shots to take uncertainty out of. And this time, I'm here with my first sub-55 minute Any% run, the 3rd person to achieve that! Brassbeat managed to make it happen less than 24 hours before this with a 54:59 and HeliosWx was on pace for it but unfortunately lost that run. I've hit 2nd place twice now, that's crazy.
